Schedule
A lighter number from these psych/prog Chicago boys, and the first single from their sophomore full-length Forward Motion Godyssey (due February 14th). If “Schedule” is any indication Post Animal is taking their sound into new dimensions.
Twin Peaks
Spiders (Kidsmoke)
Another big time Chicago act honoring their forebears with a cover of Wilco’s “Spiders (Kidsmoke),” from the Wilco Covered CD released with the November issue of Uncut magazine. Taking their time with the epic number and delivering a faithful rendition, displays the patience that shows just how far Twin Peaks has come from party rockers to fully mature musicians.
Beach Bunny
Dream Boy
Lili Trifilio and the boys deliver yet another catchy indie pop tune that will continue to play in you your head long after it’s chords fade. “Dream Boy” is Beach Bunny’s first single off new record Honeymoon set to arrive Valentine’s day!

They Say
A flowing soul filled number from Bloomington trio Hoops. “They Say” is their first recording since hitting the waves with the excellent Routines in 2017.

Drive-By Truckers
Armaageddon’s Back in Town
Another anthemic protest anthem from these Athens southern rockers. Patterson Hood, Mike Cooley and company are set to release their 12th record The Unraveling on January 31st and if this first single is any indication it’s going to be another classic in a long list. Drive-By Truckers have become a quintessential american band.

yellow is the color of her eyes
Stepping up her game Sophie Allison delivers a gorgeous seven minute plus piece “yellow is the color of her eyes,” featuring Mary Lattimore and inspired by her Mother. Check out the video and make sure to keep Soccer Mommy on the radar. Something tells us Allison is just starting to get bold with this project.
