It wasn’t the plan to post about this show, I was there to take some pics for the dynamic duo that is North by North and enjoy. Being back inside The Hideout was pure bliss and these three Chicago bands had such a savagely rockin’ night, I wanted to share some of my fav pics with you, dear Surfers. The night was kicked off by The Evictions, a garage rock trio ladened with fast and fuzzy guitar riffs. Our hero’s North by North came next with lashings of soul, grit, and joy. The anchor position was held down by Aweful, a supergroup trio that brings the perfect blend of punk, goth, and hair that don’t quit.
Keep an eye out for these local favs, they will bring the rock, you bring the love, and it is sure to be a kickin’ good time.
